So I’ve gotten really excited about scones recently. I’ve played around with a couple of recipes and this is my favorite sort of gathering.
1 cup rice flour
1/2 cup chia flour
1/2 cup buckwheat flour
1/2 cup kefir
1/2 cup applesauce
3/4 stick butter
1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
1/4 cup organic agave
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/3 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
baking is done at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes
besides that you just mix it all together. I haven’t really gotten into the freezing of parts, but I heard that can make them flakier?
delicious with apricot jam and coffee and a sister.
